Design

The design of Galaxy Note 8 is fantastic and classy, the front is almost bezel-less with full frontal glass and an edge to edge screen.

The Samsung smartphone is crafted with beautiful curves and seamless body that promotes a comfortable grip.

It also comes with a S pen that enables you write freely.

The finger print scanner sits at the rear of the Note 8 phone, and the home button is embedded underneath the infinity display. You can draw your own emojis and make animated GIFs, or write hand written messages on photos with the S pen. The finger print scanner is also for your convenience as it enables you unlock your phone with just a finger.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 sports a 6.3 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen infinity display occupies approximately 83.2% of the smartphone body, with screen resolution at 1440 by 2960 pixels and screen density, PPI at 521 pixels per inch.

The aspect ratio of 18.5:9 was made for multitasking, and offers 14% wider viewing area that makes for richer, more immersive experience.

The front is bezel-less giving the screen a huge appearance and a cinematic feel as everything displayed on it is vibrant and colorful.

Performance

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs on Android Nougat operating system with performance backed by a 6GB RAM and Octa-core processing unit clocking at speeds of 4×2.3 GHz and 4×1.7 GHz for EMEA models or 4×2.35 GHz and 4×1.9 GHz for USA and China models.

Internal storage size of the Samsung phone is available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models with expandable memory via microSD card of up to 512GB.

The internal memory of the smartphone is enough to house an elephant. The space can carry photos, videos, applications and more. Games heavy with graphics feels light thanks to the vulkan API which makes connections between computing and graphics fast.

Biometric authentication also helps you unlock your phone very fast, you can unlock the phone with your eyes, your face or even with a tough of your finger.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with dual 12-megapixel   rear or primary camera with f/1.7 and f/2.4 aperture respectively while an 8-megapixel front or secondary camera with f/1.7 aperture is stationed for additional camera support.

A smaller aperture on smartphones creates much better natural pictures than a wider aperture because it lets in more light.

The phone’s camera comes with many amazing features some of which are brokeh effect, optical image stabilization pro mode or white balance, panorama, food mode and more.

You can flip your camera and take amazing selfies or group shot with the smart auto focus which tracks the faces in the shot, and with the bright lens the picture will also come out great even in low light conditions.

Another feature that captured my attention is the slow motion, with this you can capture every moment in a stunning way.

You can also use the pro mode to edit your shots and get the perfect effect for it.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is sure to give you an amazing shooting experience, before i forget, the phone’s brokeh effect is fantastic and with it you can make the subject stand out and blur the surrounding environment.

Battery Capacity and Sensors

Galaxy Note 8 packs a Non-removable Li-Ion 3300mAh to power all the above features and more. The battery life of Note 8 is very good as it is able to last through out the day on average usage and about 22 hours of talk time.
