The Samsung phone also has a 4GB RAM which is lesser than the 6GB found in the Galaxy A8+.

The processor found in Galaxy A8 is still the same as that seen in A8+, Exynos 7885 is very fast and effective giving off a performance that is very similar to that of the processor found in Nokia 3 and Oneplus 5T.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 mobile phone also comes with a finger print sensor which allows users to open their phone in a split second, the speed of this finger print sensor can be compared to that of Huawei P20 Pro which opens the device in less than a second.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Duos White Front Screen

Display

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display occupies approximately 75.6% of the smartphone body, setting the screen display size at 5.6 inches with screen resolution at 1080 pixel by 2220 pixel and screen density, PPI at 441 pixel per inch.

The 5.6-inch screen of the Samsung Galaxy A8 comes with an extra-tall 18.5:9 shape, making the phone look tall and less wide.

The vivid super AMOLED display is sure to give users an amazing and enjoyable viewing experience.

Design

The Samsung mobile device has similar design as A8+, it has a back glass back, glass front, and a band of metal around the sides. The glass is curved both at the front and back, the front sports a 2.5D glass, with plain finishes like black, grey, blue and gold.

The colors are very plain as there is no light reactive layers to make the colors look sharp.

Also coming in with a certified IP68 water and dust proof, this proof protects the Samsung mobile phone from water as deep as 1.5mm for about 30 minutes. The phone also has a 3.5mm head phone jack at the bottom and a finger print sensor at the back.

The Samsung phone uses the same processor as its sibling A8+, the Exynos 7885 which is very fast and ensures smooth and baggage free running of the device.

The device has a 4GB RAM which was improved in A8+, as A8+ comes with a 6GB RAM for better performance.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy A8 houses a 16-megapixel rear or primary camera with f/1.7 aperture while a dual 16-megapixel plus 8-megapixel front or secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture is stationed for additional camera support.

A smaller aperture on smartphones creates much better natural pictures than a wider aperture because it lets in more light.

The Samsung device has a dual lens front facing camera which is awesome and gives off a very clear and bright photo and video and also allows users create image with blur background using the brokeh effect, However the rear camera only manage to give is decent picture and leaving room for improvement.

I was expecting to see the improvements in A8+, but it happens that the rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy phone been reviewed is slightly better than that of the A8+

Battery Capacity and Sensors

Samsung Galaxy A8 packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh to power all the above features and more. The battery life of the phone is very decent but not awesome. It can last up to 150 hours on stand by and 15 hours of talk time.
