101 Google Hacks

Google Assistant was made public during Google’s developer conference on May 18, 2016. It’s basically an artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant developed by Google which is mainly accessible on mobile and smart home devices (Wikipedia).

On the hand, it’s quite different compared to the company’s previous virtual assistant (Google Now) as Google Assistant can engage in two-way conversations. According to Voicebot’s recent Voice Assistant Consumer Adoption Report, 30% of all users rated Google assistant as the second most used voice assistant on smartphones after Siri.

Google Assistance is capable of assisting you to find answers and get things done effectively. It can help you remember your medical appointments, make dinner reservations and even serve as a menstrual flow reminder for ladies. It’s Google personalized, and helps by providing answers to every question you ask and do all the things you tell it to do, as long as those instructions are within its capacity and capability.

Furthermore, it doesn’t end there! Google Assistant is better and much more convenient on iOS with the help of Siri Shortcuts. Siri Shortcut is a new feature within iOS 12 that also enables you to perform tasks with your Apps, just by a soft tap or by asking Siri.

According to Voicebot, 44% of all users selected Siri as the most used voice assistant on smartphones. It can perform an action automatically within an App in the background and with a simple trigger phrase.

Google has restructured its Google Assistant App for iOS. This makes Google Assistant on Iphone easier than ever to activate as Google can now use Siri to trigger Google Assistant.  It enables you to apply Siri shortcuts, giving you more control over smart home devices as well as give you the answers you seek.

The benefits abounds, it however depends largely on how well you use Google Assistant. The nifty trick about the App is that with Google Assistance, you can generate a shortcut for any question you have in mind.

Once you open the Shortcut App to configure your Google Assistant Shortcut, you’ll be able to create a Shortcut for your commands or most frequently asked questions.Lets assume the four things you asked Google Assistant in the iOS app were, “Turn on the living room light”, “What’s the weather report for today?”“What are the latest news headlines?”, “How do you say hello in Spanish?” .
