  1. Sometimes when I recharge N500 glo yakata awards me with a data bonus of 600mb and other times when I recharge only get 125mb as my bonus…so what is the reason for this things happening. And how can I make a change?

  2. Any time I recharge they give 300gb on my data POS bundle for 100N but at the end of the day I can’t use it… And it keeps multiplying as I recharge
    So how do I use it

    • You should be able to use it without issues as long as you can browse already on that phone.

      Try restarting your phone first. If that doesn’t work then check your Glo APN settings.

      Go to “settings”, “mobile networks/data/internet…” (the name might be different in your phone) then “Access Point Names”

      Create a new APN (access point name)

      Fill in these
      Name – GloHSI
      APN – gloflat
      Username – flat
      PAssword – flat
      Authentication type – PAP or CHAP

      The social media bundle can only be used for Whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter.

    • Unused Glo Yakata data plan cannot be rolled over except you recharged your line with the 7 days validity period

    • The amount you recharge determines how much bonus you get.

      Roughly N5,000 recharge will get you the 6GB bonus among others.

    • Check to make sure you are subscribed to Glo Yakata – *230#. If you are then it might be network issues.

      Restart your phone, switch on aeroplane mode or remove the battery. Anyone should work.
